Captain Scott Gaeckle

After 10 years of operation Alcyon Fly Fishing and Light Tackle Charters has retired from the charter business.  I have accepted a full time position as captain on a private sportfishing boat spending my summers in Montauk and my winters in the Bahamas.  I am going to miss all my wonderful clients and the equally wonderful times we shared on the water.  I'd like to thank everyone who, over the years, made my charter fishing career an enjoyable one. 

I'd like to recommend two wonderful charter boat captains who should be able to quench your thirst for light tackle or fly fishing:

Capt. Capt. Elizabeth Forsberg is a year round resident of Montauk and has she has spent an immense amount of time on the water.  Liz specializes in all sorts of fishing from bottom fishing to fly fishing.  Liz can be reached at:  631-838-0866.  (Liz is a school teacher and won't be available on school days but she may have time for you over the summer or on weekends).
